Sorry it's been so long since I posted. I guess I just needed a break from tatting for a while. I'm back into it now, with the next section of Ineke's star.
This is done in Lizbeth color 632, Medium Purple. It is just like the second and third sections, except that each one gets progressively larger. Also, if you look closely, you will see that this one has a few picots on the outer edge where the next section will be joined. (I hesitate to call these sections rounds, because each of these concentric stars actually consists of two rounds; and the next thing will not be a round in any sense, but rather a fill-in at each of the inner corners of this star.)
The next section will complete the piece, and then I will show it all assembled.
Intriguing! I'll look forward to seeing how the star looks when all the sections are put together.
ReplyDeleteThat looks great! Can't wait to see the assembled piece! :)
ReplyDeleteYay! You're back! Gian missed Squijum as much as I missed your tatting inspirations.
ReplyDeleteI too am eager to see this one unfold... or fold... or join or whatever!
Fox : ))
Looking forward to the reveal!
ReplyDeleteI believe I know where this star is going, and it will be totally amazing! I'm in awe of Ineke's work, as it is beyond description!
ReplyDeleteThe suspense is positively palpable!
ReplyDeleteI am looking forward to seeing the next round, and how its going to work.
ReplyDeleteNice to see you back.
