"But, really, why does anyone create? You feel a... a restlessness inside, a need to make something new, something no one has ever seen before. You want to add to the beauty and the richness of the world with a gift, an offering that is uniquely yours. It's an act of selfishness and generosity, all rolled into one."

Last Hat Done
This is the last hat for Christmas. I still want to make one for myself, but that can wait. The yarn is Berroco Borealis, color 5025.
I love that the yarn gives a 'texture' to the stockinette stitch. And the ribbing looks great! Congrats for achieving your goal! I know you'll be an expert knitter in no time. Although I haven't done big projects for awhile, I just finished knitting a snowman (9" tall) in white fuzzy yarn which I hope to show on my blog. Of course I had to put a tatted snowflake on his (her?) knitted cap!
Hey, Squijum,
ReplyDeleteChew up all her wrapping ribbon! It tastes great! Hope you get lots of catnip and a new mouse.
Have a Merry One.
Your buddy,
Gian
p.s. Looks like you could do a number with your claws in that blue hat of HERS. I’ll bet SHE is pretty proud of it, too!
Lovely hat, Hope the claws won't get into it.
